Elizabeth Cibura

Elizabeth Cibura, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of dedicated experience providing counseling to students from kindergarten through high school in school-based settings. She earned her Master of Social Work from Aurora University and brings a deep understanding of both clinical practice and educational systems.

Elizabeth utilizes an integrative, trauma-informed approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic work, and EMDR to support children and adults in reaching their fullest potential and thriving.

Her extensive knowledge of school systems includes Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans (FBA/BIP), goal writing, data collection, transition planning, and crisis management. This expertise allows her to develop comprehensive and collaborative treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Elizabeth is passionate about nutrition, health and fitness, and yoga, and frequently integrates yoga, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques into her counseling sessions. She is committed to building meaningful connections with clients and guiding them toward positive change, resilience, and their most authentic selves.
