Individual Therapy: Adolescents and Adults
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Adam specializes in supporting adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, and life transitions. His approach is rooted in compassion and collaboration, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their inner world and move toward healing. Adam understands that what clients are often searching for is peace, resilience, and a sense of control—to reclaim a life that feels whole and fulfilling. What we yearn for is a sense of emotional balance and a way we can pursue our passions and dreams without being held back by fear or shame.
His clinical work is informed by Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. He blends these evidence-based methods with holistic practices, drawing from both time-tested traditions and the most current, research-supported treatments. This allows him to tailor therapy to each individual’s unique experiences and goals—honoring the whole person, not just the symptoms. Before becoming a therapist, Adam worked as an educator, an experience that continues to shape his relational, strengths-based approach. He has served in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, inpatient substance abuse treatment, and facilitating grief groups for families affected by overdose loss. These experiences have deepened his understanding of the complexities of trauma, addiction, and grief—and the resilience people carry with them.
Adam believes healing is not only possible, but a deeply personal and empowering journey. He feels privileged to walk alongside his clients as they reconnect with their inner strengths, develop new coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
